- I walked into camp not knowing a soul, but everyone was so welcoming and kind. I learned so much in my classes, including knots and lashing, orienteering, and archery, and I gained great insight from other leaders, like ideas for badge activities and fundraisers. All leaders should experience something like this...I left renewed and inspired!
- This year was my first year at Mountain Magic Leader Weekend and it was fabulous! I loved all my classes I took, and enjoyed just hanging out with other women/troop leaders. I'm already looking forward to next year's camp weekend! I'm spreading the word here in my service unit about my experience, so hopefully there will be more new faces in years to come!!
- I LOVED IT! The whole thing. I haven't gone for the past three years, but it rocks! I want to go next year again.
- This was my first year and I loved it. Everyone was so friendly and there was a lot of information to be learned.
- THANK YOU EVERYONE! It was a great weekend, from food to provided transportation, classes and all friends new and old and the weather! Can't wait till next year!!
- This was my first year, and I will definitely come back yearly. Everyone was so nice, accommodations were great, loved every class I took and...the food wasn't bad either lol. Great weekend getaway.

- Nice assortment of interesting classes. Learned lots of new skills to take back to the troop.
- Thanks for another fun event. Love how you value our comments and make things even better from year to year! I really enjoy these training weekends.
F.A.Q's (Frequently Asked Questions)
Why are some classes repeated eachyear?
Some classes because participants ask for them the next year when they are not able to get in to the class. We try not to have the same classes more than 3 years successively. However, some classes like Outdoor Classes are in such demand and are the fundamental classes for outdoor experiences, they are offered each year.
More Older Girl and STEM classes are being included in our offerings. We try to get a variety of craft and cooking classes, too.
Participant requests are always considered for the next year.

When do we get cabin assignments?
About two weeks out for the event, you should receive an email with your unit & cabin number.
You will also get your class list and anything you need to bring for each class.
